Mr. & Mrs. Soon To Be JONES

Last year I asked my cousin, Kacey, if I could borrow her and her little family on Thanksgiving for an impromptu family film. I had been learning all about cinematography and wanted to practice. I didn’t have all the necessary equipment yet, that’s my impulsiveness for you, but I was determined to practice!
Nothing ever happens if you keep waiting for the perfect timing!
She agreed, thankfully, and thus starting my new adventure into film making! They were perfect but there was a catch. “Sarah” (changing her name for privacy) didn’t like getting her pictures taken. They warned me, during their engagement shoot prior in the year, “Sarah” was NOT having it.
So what do I do now? I work my CHARM! Guess who was ALL about the pictures this day !?
That’s right “Sarah!” We LOVE working with Kaitlyn Angel Photography.
Isn’t she adorable! We had such a blast. We were pushing daddy, knocking him down, throwing flowers at him, faking him out and all sorts of moving and running around! Let me tell you, she made me work for it!

Regardless of the extra work, they were amazing to let me borrow them on our family holiday. I appreciate them for everything they have done to support my business! I was so excited to present their film to them!

Now, remember. I was standing in the freezing cold, holding this 8lb. camera HANDHELD for 2 hours… So it’s a bit shaky. But the point was learning to create a story and piece it together… So hold the technical judgement to the next film.
