Mr + Mr Jaeger

Stunning… These two were such a joy to work with. We had the perfect weather, perfect venue, the perfect dress and of course the perfect couple!

The Venue.

Pinecroft at Crosley Estate is an absolutely magical place. This venue is the historic mansion of Powel Crosley, Jr., a beautiful Tudor estate that sits on 18 pristine acres tucked away from the hustle and bustle, but mere minutes away from downtown Cincinnati, Ohio.

According to their website… Powel Crosley, Jr. was born in the 1880s, Crosley was a famous Cincinnati native and UC grad, making his fortune in automobile parts and then later putting his engineering mind to work by creating his own radio and selling it for just $35, much less than the hundreds they typically cost back in the 1920s. He soon became the leading radio manufacturer in the world.

Before his death in 1961, Crosley would go on to offer the first refrigerator with shelves in the doors, develop lightweight and fuel efficient cars and purchase the Cincinnati Reds, who played at “Crosley Field” until the ‘70s.

After years of being unoccupied, the Cincinnati Preservation Association together with Funky’s Catering Events, stepped in to save The Pinecroft Estate and began renovations, enhancing as much of the original charm and features of the estate as possible.

The association was wildly successful, as guests and visitors alike often comment on the beauty of the mansion’s many original features.

The grounds feature a hidden wine cellar (during prohibition), multiple hidden safes, main library, multiple gardens and so much more! It’s a true fairytale venue!

The Couple

Mr + Mrs Jaegar booked with me about a year before their wedding day! We met up a few times in that time period to catch up, talk about the wedding planning and to just get to know each other!
I love meeting with my clients ahead of time. The wedding day is so much more fun, more relaxing, we become a part of the wedding party AND it’s so much more emotional watching them get married!

These two are literally the sweetest couple. They compliment each other very well. They have big personalities and corky and I LOVE it!

I thought Mr. Jaeger was pretty well reserved until his wedding day! He really came to shine. From the most adorable first look I’ve done, to the surprise choreographed mother son dance to the dance floor at the end of the night! I saw a whole new side and I was so excited for it!

Getting Ready

As most of our days begin, we start by getting ready. Who doesn’t want to get pampered by your professional hair stylist and makeup artist in a gorgeous Estate?

This venue did not disappoint. The girls had a good time drinking champagne, eating snacks and reminiscing about their friendships.

Meanwhile the guys were in The Trophy Room where Mr. Crosley had a secrete wine cellar during the prohibition!

The Dress

For most bride’s the wedding dress is a very important piece of the puzzle for their dream wedding day’s. Most brides get help from their closest loved one and we capture these memories for them. This dress was absolutely gorgeous and looked perfect on her!

The First Look

We all dream about what our SO will do when they see us for the first time…will they cry? will they gush? will they do literally nothing? —> That’s what I’m expecting from my not so emotional fiancé lol!

However, this was the absolute most adorable reaction I have ever witnessed. Mr. Jaeger is so in love… He froze, he melted, he treated her like she was porcelain glass… I had to remind him that he can hug her! He was super nervous waiting to turn around and when he did, he actually melted. Just see for yourself!

The Ceremony

They chose to have their ceremony hidden within the trees to make the day even more fairytale like. It was truly something you would see out of a movie! So timeless, elegant and simple. I LOVED it. Also, their dog is super photogenic!

The Party!

Now that the day is coming to an end and we have said ‘I Do,’ we finish the night off with some traditional dances, cake cuttings, speeches and some good old fashion partying! And these guys did NOT disappoint. From dance offs to grandparents shaking what their momma gave them, this party almost never stopped!
